Recently an article attacking Rouche for buying up a 90% of all the Arise Star Fruit Crop and some are condemning the Multinational Conglomerate of anti-trust violations. The critics of Rouche are saying that this prevents other companies from coming in to produce tamiflu bird flu vaccine.

It appears that we need to understand that as bad as Big Pharma gets at times, as we see with the Lobbyists, FDA data manipulation, freebies to doctors and research modification; the fact is we need them. We need free-enterprise to spend the money to come up with the solutions to the problems of mankind.

We must also understand World Money Flows and the Multi-National Conglomerate games of major markets and the give and take, as well as keeping all the World Financiers happy. If we condemn Rouche too quickly without looking at their side of the issue we fail to consider what happens if there is a huge Bird Flu break out and there was no vaccine or cure or not enough available to save all the humans?

If a Human Strain of Bird Flu spreads as fast as an Influenza (the fear), then it could travel the world over and back in a few months or half a year at most. If the death rates were high, the amount of damage to overall human population bases in all regions would be catastrophic. Of course Bird Flu is not the only issue on the Horizon and it is not the last potential eventuality in this realm we will be dealing with in regards to bio issues we will face in the future. Consider this in 2006.
